SSU's Graduation Initiative

Graduation Initiative 2025 is the California State University’s ambitious initiative to increase graduation rates for all CSU students while eliminating equity gaps. Through this initiative the CSU will ensure that all students have the opportunity to graduate in a timely manner according to their personal goals, positively impacting their future and producing the graduates needed to power California and the nation. The initiative focuses on two goals:

  1. To raise the overall six-year and four-year graduation rates of CSU students, and
  2. Eliminate the existing equity gap between under-represented CSU students (URMs) and non-underrepresented CSU students (non-URMs).

The goals of Graduation Initiative 2025 require us to consistently measure outcomes and take stock of our efforts to improve students’ timely completion of a high-quality degree. You can learn more about SSU's progress towards these goals through the links below.
