General Information

What is Reporting and Analytics?

Reporting and Analytics performs comprehensive post-secondary education research to inform campus planning and decision-making in areas such as curriculum development, enrollment management, and university staffing. Reporting and Analytics aggregates data, performs statistical analyses, and reports the findings to the campus community, governing bodies, and the public.

The main function of The Office of Reporting and Analytics at Sonoma State University is the collection and assessment of student-based data, including admissions, matriculation, retention, and graduation. The findings that result from these analyses help drive decisions made on the administrative level regarding class size and availability, admission targets, and student support, among others.
