Standard Reports

The Office of Reporting and Analytics generates a number of standard reports each year, mainly for use by outside publications. A selection of those reports have been compiled in this section of our website.

Common Data Set

The Common Data Set (CDS) initiative is a collaborative effort among data providers in the higher education community and publishers to improve the quality and accuracy of information provided to all parties involved in a student's transition into higher education. This report provides a succinct but comprehensive overview of Sonoma State University. CDS data for Sonoma State University currently dates back to 1999.

IPEDS Reporting

All higher education institutions that receive federal dollars annually participate in the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) Graduation Rate Survey. The results are cumulative graduation rates and yearly continuation rates for successive cohorts of new first-time freshmen degree-seekers that attempted full-time course-loads in their first academic term. IPEDS consists of twelve interrelated survey components that are collected over three collection periods (fall, winter, and spring). Sonoma State University's reports to IPEDS can be found here.

Enrollment Reports

Enrollment reports help inform department course planning and university space allocation by showing how many students enroll in each class offered by the univeristy. Reports of this nature can be found in this section.
