These emphases are not required by the program, nor can we guarantee that all courses will be offered during your time at Sonoma State. Program Emphases are intended to help focus your program of study, and enhance the set of skills and competencies you acquire as part of your Master’s degree.  Consult your advisor to select the Emphasis and the individual coursework that will best support your research.
