  • Opportunity for students and faculty to have their artwork displayed at our district office at the Rattigan State Building in Santa Rosa. Assembly member Levine is always looking to promote the work of diligent students in our community. Additionally, they have their holiday office hours coming up in December, which would be an opportunity to further highlight student and faculty artwork. Please let Christine know if you would like to participate by the end of the week, Friday, November 2nd. Additionally, the California Arts Council has opened applications for their 2019 grants programs.   • A student show at Honey Badger Cafe in Rohnert Park. Since this is a cafe, we're looking for smaller pieces, no larger than 18"x24". This would be done through the Art Club and if people are interested they can contact me at murray@sonoma.edu.

Participants will be eligible for cash prizes, art supply gift certificates and a continuing education scholarship.   • The Sonoma State Star is looking for an Editorial Cartoonist for the paper. The position involves creating a cartoon, depending on weekly content, once a week by mid-Monday. This is an unpaid internship with possibility of schoalarship at the end.
