34th annual Art from the Heart benefit art auction

34th annual Art from the Heart benefit art auction - 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., February 3, 2018: Art from the Heart is a silent art auction and party at the University Art Gallery, an exciting evening of art, food, wine, and music that has become one of the oldest continually-held fundraising events in the area and a “must” for novice and seasoned collectors alike. The auction features modestly priced works of art that are sold during a silent auction. It’s a wonderful way to have a good time, support the Gallery (and in turn, young students planning careers in the museum and gallery field), and go home with an original work of art by an artist from the Bay Area or from across the country. Proceeds from the auction directly benefit the programs of the Art Gallery’s exhibition, publication, and lecture programs. This year's auction features music of the Dave Getz trio and a special presentation by Creative Sonoma, a nonprofit charitable organization helping artists recover from October's devastating wildfires.
