Meet Your Facilitators

Taylor Sherman

Taylor Sherman is one of the Coordinators for the Low Ropes Party! If you ask him to bring a dish to a potluck, it’s likely he will bring a jar of mayo. He loves mayo. He also loves practicing music or doing something outdoors e.g. mountain biking and kayaking. After a long day of facilitating groups, he rewards himself with mayo. Tell him a random science fact. His love for science facts is only surpassed by his love for mayo.

Sam Evans

Sam is one of the Coordinators for the Low Ropes Party! Don’t expect him to be your morning facilitator. He’s not a morning person. Coffee doesn’t help, however, he does love to eat breakfast burritos in the afternoon. He loves being out in nature, and also works as an Outdoor Pursuits trip leader. Music is his favorite thing in the world.

Isabel Colin

Isabel Colin is one of our most beloved facilitators. She loves experiencing new things. Once, she tried long boarding. Didn’t work out too well. But she will drive up to an hour for good food. She also studied abroad in Madrid for 9 months. Some say it was for an education, some say it was for the food. We will never know… Well, she might tell you if you teach her how to long board.

Amy Weald

Amy Weald is one of the longest members of the LowRo Crew. She zip lined her way to London and lived close to where the first bomb was dropped in WWII. She would have been Baby GAP famous had her mama gave her the go-ahead. She settled on being Low Ropes famous; she’s quite the explosive facilitator.

Simone Moscovitch

Simone is a pensive and playful facilitator. She is tri-lingual and can welcome you in a variety of ways. She is learning to play the piano so that she can produce a soft peaceful background in any situation and sing you into a lovely lull of three different languages. You will be so entranced that your worries will fade far, far away. Just don’t expect there to be cheese in this fantasy. She hates cheese, even the fictitious variety.

Celina Gines

Celina enjoys all kinds of outdoor activities. She loves hiking, biking, running, soccer, and even swimming with whale sharks! Interestingly enough, her sprit animal is a platypus. We believe that this inner platypus sprit will help her adopt the many qualities that make a great facilitator.  When you see her on the course, give her your best platypus impression! She’ll really appreciate it.

Brenda Recinos

Brenda is very bubbly and outgoing. When she is facilitating your course, surprise her with a bag of hot chips, tacos, boba tea, or a pig (not the eating variety, weirdo).  She loves all three equally. She is always delighted to rip into a bag of hot chips or dive deep into those wonderful little tapioca pearls.  She loves the color aqua and enjoys spending time with her loved ones.

Sydnie Barboza

Sydnie loves to go on long hikes. Toward the end of her hikes, she finds herself on top of a mountain, yawping like a modern day Walt Whitman. Nature calls to her. It flows through her veins. When she’s not out conquering the wilderness, she enjoys winding down by baking or listening to music.

Adelyn Chaing

Adelyn is one of our new facilitators for the Low Ropes Course! She is welcoming, joyful, and most importantly wants to make sure you have a fun experience with adventure programs! She finds excitement in developing deeper friendships and is ready to ask questions and listen. She enjoys working with children and is studying to become an elementary teacher. Along with caring for children, she also has a passion for art, exploring the outdoors, cooking delicious multicultural foods, and spending time with friends in the sun.

Ella Corbett

Ella: Noun. New Low Ropes Course Facilitator who is always being amazing. Ella is a junior majoring in Liberal Studies. She spends a lot of her time being EXTREMELY involved with Adventure Programs. She works at the Low Ropes Course, Outdoor Pursuits, and the Rock Wall. WOW! She loves being outdoors and sharing those experiences with other people, She finds she is most jubilant when hiking with friends, swimming in rivers, climbing up rocks, and reading outside. She’s great!

Kaytlin Abad

Kaytlin Abad is a new Low Ropes Course facilitator. She enjoys being in the sun and spending as much time as possible at the beach. Kaytlin loves to run and eat tons of In-N-Out and Chick-Fil-A: at the same time. She’s an orange county girl with a strong spirit and is not afraid to speak her mind. When she says she’s going to do something she will stop at nothing to get it done. Kaytlin has a drive within her not many people have; she’s always doing something around campus whether it’s for her sorority or RSA.

Mackenzie Erb

Sydnie loves to go on long hikes. Toward the end of her hikes, she finds herself on top of a mountain, yawping like a modern day Walt Whitman. Nature calls to her. It flows through her veins. When she’s not out conquering the wilderness, she enjoys winding down by baking or listening to music.

Milo Moré

Milo is one of our new facilitators. He is an EMT by day, and a goober by night. As fan of loud ignorant music, he spends his alone time sitting in an armchair listening to Mozart. One time he caught a squirrel and named him Enrique. He taught him how to swim, but sadly he ran away and never came back. True of false: Milo is a lumberjack as well?

Noelle Burke

Noelle is another new facilitator to the Low Ropes Course! She is a senior here at SSU, studying environmental science, and planning to save the world! In her free time, she likes playing sports, hiking, going camping, and attending every music festival she can. If she’s not out doing one of these activities, she finds joy in eating cookies. I mean, who doesn’t? Oh. And she’s OBSESSED with Michael Scott.
