A forum built to encourage networking and continued professional growth within the CCJ community at SSU by addressing current issues in the national CCJ community and exploring the various career opportunities and their interrelated advantages, issues, concerns, and potentials. This will be accomplished through regular bi-weekly forum meetings, guest speakers, and additional activities such as tours of various criminal justice facilities and marksmanship practice.

Pre-Law Society at Sonoma State University

The Pre-Law Society (PLS) is a student organization dedicated to bringing together Sonoma State undergraduates who are interested in the law and in pursuing legal careers. We are a community of like-minded students who wish to help members of the student body reach informed decisions about their futures. Every year we plan to host a diverse program of speaker events, information sessions, and workshops. In addition to programming, we work with a Pre-Law Advisor and other campus organizations to build community, understanding, and a common vision. Our goal is to provide law school admissions events for students such as: Admissions workshops, LSAT practice tests and workshops, and Personal Statement workshops.
