CSU IP Exchange Program

The California State University (CSU) system is made up of 23 campuses located throughout California. There is a system-wide exchange program where we send American students abroad and receive international students from a number of partner universities around the world. If you are currently attending one of our partner institutions, you can apply to study at SSU for one or two semesters on exchange.

For more information on how to apply to CSU IP, please visit the exchange program’s website or talk to the exchange coordinator at your home institution.

CSU IP students who are interested in education/teaching can participate in SITE – the Sonoma International Teaching Experience. SITE students act as Language Teaching Assistants (LTAs) and enroll in a number of education courses. Please visit our website for more information.

Semester at Sonoma Program

If you are not currently attending one of our partner institutions, but would still like to attend SSU for one or two semesters, you can apply to participate in our Semester at Sonoma program at an undergraduate student. Students in this program can take 12 units in any subject area (as long as they meet the requirements for that major/course).
