Space Modification and Renovation

Capital Planning, Design and Construction has oversight of the campus Building Permit Program for campus space and renovation proposals. The purpose of the Building Permit Program is to provide minimum standards per the government codes, regulations and agency approvals, as required.

Sonoma State University’s Building Permit Program, is administered by Facilities Management, and coordinates all project planning and code compliance reviews and approvals.

Departments or individuals wanting to make physical changes to any area on campus must complete the Building Permit Application. Work will not begin until after the application is received and evaluated and approved by Capital Planning, Design and Construction.

Any space modification or renovation on campus must adhere to University Policies.
