Advanced Credentials and Related Programs


We offer three advanced programs for experienced teachers looking to become leaders in the field of Reading and Literacy Education:

Educational Leadership:

The coursework in the Educational Leadership graduate program leads to a Preliminary Administrative Services Credential (PASC I), the Preliminary Administrative Services Intern Credential, or the Professional Administrative Services Credential (PASC II). The credential programs are embedded in the Masters of Arts degree program with a concentration in Educational Leadership. Students admitted to the program have the option of completing their M.A. degree, in addition to the completion of requirements for their administrative credential .The Administrative Services Credential programs, Preliminary Level I and Professional Level II were designed collaboratively with school administrators to prepare graduates for positions of leadership in K-12 educational settings.

Special Education:

The Clear Induction Education Specialist program is a coordinated course of study that provides direct support for beginning special education teachers after they have completed the Preliminary Level I Education Specialist Credential program and are employed in a special education position.
