June 16, 2016 Stevenson Air samples 12 of 12 air samples collected throughout Stevenson were non-detect for asbestos. During the entire week from Monday morning through the sample collection period on Thursday, roughly 10 contractors were working above ceiling tiles, pulling cables, installing hangers, and similar work, with at least 15 ceiling tiles lifted at any one time. Additionally, on Thursday during the sampling period two workers spent the entire day vacuuming electrical and telecom mechanical spaces. This is more disruptive above-ceiling work than would ever have been done at a single time with in-house staff, and ALL samples were non-detect for asbestos.
