EOP Student Ambassadors

The purpose of the EOP Ambassadors is to be a positive influence on our EOP Community. The three-pronged mission of the EOP Ambassadors is to encourage EOP Students to thrive and complete their higher education, cultivate individuals in their pursuit of their chosen Major and career, and share the multitude of opportunities the EOP Program has to offer.

Through personal experiences, the EOP Ambassadors promote these ideals throughout not only the EOP Office but the campus as well. The EOP Ambassadors are an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and high-energy team of students who actively represent the EOP Program in a variety of Office Assistant roles. Our EOP Ambassadors represent our EOP Program, to the campus; often times as a first point of contact. In addition, our EOP Ambassadors help the EOP Advisors and Coordinators participate in various events such as Summer Bride, the EOP Awards Celebration, the Career Fair and other events.

Students are chosen as EOP Ambassadors for their top-notch qualifications. They will enjoy opportunities to enhance their leadership, interpersonal and public speaking skills. They will gain invaluable knowledge about how the EOP Program works through close working relationships with EOP Students, Deans, Department Chairs, Faculty, and Staff. If you have questions or ideas, feel free to come in to the EOP Office and be warmly greated by an Ambassador! If you would like to contact them, call the EOP Office main phone line at 707-664-2427 or email the Ambassadors at EOP@sonoma.edu.

Name:  Christopher Villedo
Class Level: Junior
Major: Sociology
Hometown: San Jose, CA
High School: William C. Overfelt High School
Favorite Food: Tacos

I am a third year student at Sonoma State looking to pursue a degree in Sociology. I want to use Sociology to understand all aspects of how people act and why they act a certain ways. I was born and raised in San Jose and I am a huge fan of music and sports. Sonoma State is such a serene campus and it's a place you can't take your eye off of. It is such a small campus that it's very impossible to get lost, but so easy to get lost in love with its nature aspects.
