Member of the Pink Boots Society for women beer professionals. Certified Tourism Ambassador for Sonoma County. Avid Homebrewer. Beer and food judge; the first and only American to judge the British Pie Awards in England. Judge for Sonoma County Homebrewers Competition, Battle of the Brews and the Ibeerian Beer Awards in Portugal. International Brewers Care Coordinator for the RateBeer Best awards and festival. An enthusiastic Private chef; she's been on TV cooking shows and teaches the Cooking with Beer Demos at the Marin Sonoma Fair. She just returned from a month of touring Germany, Switzerland And UK breweries and hop farms. Frequent world traveler; she has been to all over Europe several times and Panama in her pursuit of great beer, wine and food. Rabid bookworm, cultural experiences and history seeker. She's given 6 tours for the United States naval war college coordinating for officers from 83 nations and enjoys taking them on brewery tours in their "free" time. Big fan of all Things fermented, beer, wine, cider, Sake and mead. A proud Navy brat; she came to SSU as a student many years ago and decided to make beautiful Sonoma County her forever home.
