Lorraine Segal

Lorraine Segal, M.A.

Lorraine Segal, M.A., through her business Conflict Remedy, offers consulting, coaching, and training for business executives, managers, and employees to help them navigate conflict, communicate clearly, understand bullying, and help create a harmonious and productive workplace. Her clients have included the Department of the Interior, St. Joseph’s Health, County of Napa, Duckhorn Winery, and a number of companies and non profits. As well as being a professor at Sonoma State University, she also teaches for Brāv Online Conflict Management. She has been interviewed by NPR and quoted in Huffington Post. She is a contributing author in a new book, Stand up, Speak Out against Workplace Bullying out December 2017.

Bonita Banducci

Bonita Banducci

Bonita Banducci teaches Gender and Engineering for Santa Clara University’s School of Engineering Graduate Studies Program and Diversity and Innovation in STEM for the Engineering Undergraduate Program.

She is a founder of the Global Women's Leadership Network and has been faculty and coach for the Women Leaders for the World Program, which has now merged into How Women Lead. President of Banducci Consulting, her original consulting research on a Silicon Valley Fortune 500 company, “What is the Contribution Women Make that Could be the Strategic Advantage in the Global Marketplace?” launched her work in Gender Competence®—understanding and skills to work with gender differences as differences in valuable “competencies” that together, increase innovation, productivity and bottom line results.

She gave a panel presentation “Realize Planet 50/50: Men and Women in Partnership for the Fulfillment of the UN Sustainable Development Goals” with practitioners who have used her framework in many sectors for the 2017 UN Women Parallel Conference. She has consulted with Tech companies in Silicon Valley and organizations across the US and has been a faculty for the Women’s Startup Lab in Menlo Park. She was named a Silicon Valley Woman of Influence by the Silicon Valley Business Journal in 2014.

Banducci has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UC Santa Cruz and has worked for three transformational education companies. Before entering the Diversity in Tech field, Bonita had a decade of entrepreneurial retail and hospitality experience applying design thinking in opening and running businesses on Union Square in San Francisco and in the wine country of Mexico.

Karenjot Bhangoo Randhawa

Karenjot Bhangoo Randhawa

Karenjot Bhangoo Randhawa is a lecturer in Global Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. She received her Ph.D. from the School of Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason University. Professor Bhangoo Randhawa specializes in designing and delivering cross-cultural and conflict resolution trainings for a variety of public and private groups in the United States and internationally including healthcare organizations, university administration, social service programs and county departments. She has conducted facilitations for city planning processes, immigrant rights policy initiatives and dialogue around racism and discrimination after the 9/11 attacks. She is Adjunct Professor of Law at Hastings College of Law and has served on the State Bar ADR Committee. Her recent publication is “Civil Society in Malerkotla, Punjab: Fostering Resilience Through Religion (Lexington, 2012).” which examines peacebuilding through religion and civil society. She is also co-author in Conflict Across Cultures: A Unique Bridging Experience (Nicolas Brealey, 2006) and Religion and Human Security: A Global Perspective (Oxford University Press, 2012). Currently she is researching the role of women’s organizations in human security in Delhi and conflict transformation and resilience within diaspora communities in Canada.

Rita Callahan

Rita Callahan

Rita Callahan has over twenty years’ experience as an organizational ombuds and conflict resolution consultant providing conflict management, collaboration, leadership, and team development services as a neutral third party. She works with individuals, teams, departments and organizations so people can communicate and work better together, especially when repairing a conflict or addressing important concerns. Rita provides services in conflict management, coaching, mediation, facilitation, training, collaboration, team development, and workstyle and climate assessments.

Rita has had Organizational Ombuds positions in government and university and academic healthcare environments including University of California San Francisco, University of California Davis, National Institutes of Health, and FEMA. She provided conflict resolution services as an internal consultant at the NYC public utility for six years and as an external consultant to diverse organizations in different industries for over thirteen years.

Rita is a Certified Organizational Ombuds Practitioner (CO-OP) ® from the International Ombudsman Association, has a Master’s in Decision Science, and is an Advanced Practitioner in Workplace Mediation from the Association for Conflict Resolution. She has received over 300 hours of coach training at Coach University. She has an OD Process Consulting Certification through the Institute of Organizational Development, is certified in MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Inventory) and is a Master Trainer in the Conflict Dynamics Profile®. She is a trainer of certification courses in mediation, advanced mediation, and workplace mediation.

Rita is a requested speaker at over 50 national conferences including the Association for Conflict Resolution, the International Ombudsman Association, the American Bar Association – Dispute Resolution Section, Society for Human Resources, and state conferences in NY, NJ, GA, MD, MT and PA. She has presented conflict resolution skills sessions at the International Association of Facilitators conferences, and has presented facilitation skills sessions at the International Ombudsman Association conferences.

Christopher Kane

Christopher Kane

Christopher Kane, P.E., Esq., is President of P3 Collaborative LLC, a legal and contract advisory services company, assisting project participants in negotiation of project development and delivery contracts for water, energy, and transportation infrastructure. Chris has served as a neutral for over 25 years in collaborative resolutions of disputes. He also has negotiated hundreds of contract agreements and changes in the engineering and construction industry. He is a registered professional engineer and licensed attorney with over 40 years of experience in the engineering, environmental and construction industries. Prior to receiving his law degree, he spent 5 years as an engineering officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Since getting his law degree, he has been a law partner in Washington DC law firms, and corporate counsel and a business executive for top engineering and construction companies. He received his JD degree from George Washington University Law School in D.C. and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point.

John Ford

John Ford, B.A., LLB

John Ford, is an experienced workplace mediator based in California who has successfully mediated hundreds of workplace disputes, including in healthcare, since 1996. In addition, John has provided training to thousands of employees at all levels in the workplace, across a wide range of industries. John teaches negotiation at UC Hastings School of Law, mediation to graduate Business and Psychology students at Golden Gate University, and organizational collaboration online through Creighton University. He is a past president of the Association for Dispute Resolution of Northern California (ADRNC), and was the managing editor of www.mediate.com from 2000 to 2011. Currently, he is a member of the Association for Conflict Resolution and the ADRNC. John is the author of Peace at Work: The HR Manager's Guide to Workplace Mediation and the founder of The HR Mediation Academy.
