Project Management Certificate

waterfall.jpgThe Sonoma State University Project Management Certification Course covers traditional project management, sometimes known as "waterfall" project management. The course satisfies the educational requirements necessary to sit for the Project Management Institute Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® or the Project Management Professional (PMP)® examinations. There are no educational or experience prerequisites for the Sonoma State University Project Management Certification course.

Course topics will include the project lifecycle phases of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing. Other topics include project integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resource, risk, procurement and stakeholder management and hands-on training in the use of Microsoft Project.

The course does not include the PMI exam as that must be administered by a PMI-licensed testing facility.

The cost of the course is $2050, which includes use of Microsoft Project 2016 in the laboratory.
