Professional Social Media

A scheduled maintenance outage of the SEIE online registration system will occur between Monday, June 26, 2017 and Friday, June 30, 2017. The outage will begin at 12:00 a.m., PDT, Monday morning and will end at 11:59 p.m., PDT, Friday evening. SEIE highly encourages students to register for classes by this Friday, June 23, 2017, to avoid a registration delay.

This outage will not affect students who register by logging into their MySSU accounts.

We will continue to accept registrations in person, by phone or by fax during the outage; however, users will not have access to the SEIE online registration system until Saturday, July 1, 2017. We apologize for any inconvenience this scheduled outage may cause and thank you for your patience and understanding.

About The Program

As of November 2016, 79% of US online adults use social networking sites*. Yet, even those comfortable using social media in their personal lives are often unprepared to take on professional responsibilities. This course provides professionals with the strategies and knowledge to improve their practice or explore a social media career.

The Professional Social Media Certificate provides participants with training and experience developing a social media campaign in their industry. This program combines hands-on experience and the opportunity to learn from others. The program will yield a certificate and increased intentionality, competency, confidence and experience not attained through individual independent content exploration.
