Area Studies Minor

The minor is only available to students who are studying abroad. Students take courses focused on the region in which they are studying. This minor does not apply to Spanish-, French- or German-speaking countries. In those cases, students should choose a Language or Latin American Studies Minor.

SSU courses may apply, but cannot be relied upon to fulfill the minor’s 20 unit minimum.

Two courses may be from the Arts and Humanities. The rest must be from the Social Sciences.
