Changing your Address - W2 Mailing

The form W2 will be mailed from the State Controller's Office by January 31, 2020. Employees must update their mailing address in self-service by December 12th for the correct address to be used.

Cal Employee Connect - Pilot Phase

Critical Illness & Accident Insurance - Special Enrollment Period

The Standard Life Insurance was recently awarded the contract for Critical Illness and a new Accident Insurance plan. Beginning February 1 through February 29, 2020, employees may enroll in these plans with an April 1, 2020 coverage date.

The Standard will be hosting four live webinars to cover information about Accident and Critical Illness coverages and the current Voluntary Life and Voluntary AD&D plans. They are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on both January 28th and January 29th. The link to register is: https://zoom.us/s/676809044. Please note the link will not be active until the specified dates mentioned previously.

An on-site group meeting is scheduled for Sonoma State employees on Thursday, February 13th, in the Russian River Valley room in the Student Center. Employees may attend a 10:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m. session.

  • Employee Assistance Program - The employee assistance program (EAP) is designed to provide professional assistance to state faculty, staff and their families (dependents and permanent household members) in assessing and resolving personal problems that may be affecting well-being or job performance.
  • Employee Wellness - Sonoma State promotes a culture of wellness amongst faculty and staff to encourage personal and professional productivity, physical and mental well-being, and promote a healthy lifestyle. 
  • Ergonomics -  The Ergonomics Program supports employees by providing training, ergonomic evaluations, recommendations and planning for the office and the trades.
  • Tuition Waiver -  Fee waiver (or tuition assistance) entitles eligible CSU employees (and in some cases their spouse, domestic partner or dependent child) to enroll in courses at any CSU campus and have fees waived or reduced.
  • Employee Discounts -  There are several discounts available to employees, including savings off the price of admission tickets to amusement parks, museums, and more.
