Interdisciplinary Studies (ITDS)

Master of Arts or Science in Interdisciplinary Studies

The Interdisciplinary Studies MA/MS program provides the graduate student with an opportunity to combine coursework and experiences across two or more disciplines toward a coherent plan of study in a manner not served by traditional programs. The program requires a minimum of 30 units of graduate work, approved by members of the student’s graduate advisory committee and the Graduate Studies Subcommittee. As with all master’s programs at Sonoma State, a master’s in Interdisciplinary Studies culminates in a thesis, project, or comprehensive exam.

Those interested in the Interdisciplinary Studies master’s program should contact the Graduate Studies Office at 707-664-3593 or via email at graduate.studies@sonoma.edu for detailed guidelines and information about the application process.
