Students Perform at Western Division Conference


Seven music majors from Sonoma State performed in the 2016 Intercollegiate Band at the College Band Directors National Association (CBDNA) Western/Northwestern Division Conference, held March 16-19 at the University of Nevada, Reno. The biennial conference offers broad-based, in-depth content, designed to connect conductors from diverse backgrounds with new tools, repertoire, and ideas.

The band was comprised of 90 college students nominated by their band directors and conducted by CBDNA National President Patrick Dunnigan of Florida State University, Tallahassee. Band members came from Alaska, Arizona, California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington.

Danielle DiBartolomeo, bass trombone
