Weill Hall is Setting for Family Concert by Candlelight

Families everywhere are invited to celebrate the holiday season in song on Sunday, November 23, when the Sonoma State University Symphonic Chorus and Chamber Singers present the first annual Family Concert By Candlelight. Fear not – the 2 pm concert will be over well before bedtime, and the battery-powered “candles” can’t burn little fingers. So bring the kids over to Weill Hall and make this a part of your holiday tradition.

Conductor Jenny Bent has partnered with the Redwood Empire Food Bank to accept donations of food at the door. Cash donations are always welcome too. For information call 707-664-3925.

Musical selections will include Francesco Durante's musical gem, Magnificat, and fun arrangements of favorite holiday tunes, topped off with a carol sing-along and "Hallelujah Chorus" from Handel's Messiah. Special guest singers will arrive from the choirs of Petaluma and Analy high schools and the Petaluma Children’s Chorus.

Tickets are $8, parking included. To receive a special family discount for this concert, click here and enter the promo code 2FERMUS.

Weill Hall is located at the Green Music Center near the intersection of Rohnert Park Expressway and Petaluma Hill Road. Parking is available in Lots L, M, N and O.
