Symphony Orchestra Goes To The Movies

Concert Features Mariachi Band, Lightsaber Choreography

The Sonoma State Symphony Orchestra presents its second annual Family Concert, featuring movie music spanning from classic ‘40s Hollywood to modern-day Pixar on March 4 at 2 pm at the Green Music Center’s Weill Hall.

Special guests include Mariachi Barragan of Santa Rosa and the San Francisco Golden Gate Knights lightsaber show. Alexander Kahn conducts.

Audience members are invited to come dressed as their favorite movie character.

Ticket prices are $8 and free to SSU students. Children under two admitted free, if sitting in a parent’s lap. The Green Music Center at Sonoma State University is located two miles east of Highway 101 on Rohnert Park Expressway. Info: 707-664-2324.
