Navarro Chamber Players Bring Fauré, Rota, Gaubert and Beethoven to Schroeder

Members of Sonoma State University’s Chamber Ensemble-in-Residence will join two Instrumental Studio faculty for an afternoon of music for piano, flute, clarinet and cello on Oct. 23 at 2 p.m. in Schroeder Hall. Performing a program from the 19th and 20th century will be pianist Marilyn Thompson and cellist Jill Brindel – co-founders of the Navarro Trio – flutist Kathleen Reynolds and clarinetist Roy Zajac. Admission is $8 and free to SSU students.

Nino Rota (1911-1979): Trio for clarinet, cello and piano
Philippe Gaubert (1879-1941): Trois Aquarelles for flute, cello and piano
Beethoven (1770-1827): Sonata in C Major, Op. 102, No. 1 for cello and piano
