Symphonic Wind Ensemble Spring Tour 2012

The Music Department wishes the SSU Symphonic Wind Ensemble and its conductor, Andy Collinsworth, Bon Voyage on their upcoming tour of Northern California.

Departing campus on the morning of Thursday, March 22, the 60-member ensemble will play five concerts before returning to campus on the afternoon of Saturday, March 24.

Performances are scheduled for Benicia High School (10 a.m. Thursday), Granite Bay High School (1:30 p.m.), Pioneer High School (7:30 p.m. Thursday), Rio Americano High School (9 a.m. Friday) and South Tahoe High (4:30 p.m. Friday).

The tour program features classic and newer works for symphonic band including Lincolnshire Posy (Grainger), The Seal Lullaby (Whitacre), Foundry (Mackey), Paris Sketches (Ellerby) and Raider's March (Williams).
