Executive Chef

Chef Eric Malvestiti graduated with honors from the California Culinary Academy in 1992, and has been with Sonoma State University since 2006. Chef Malvesiti’s experience includes the Inn at the Tides (Bodega Bay, California), Gesine’s Restaurant (Anchorage, Alaska), Sam’s Anchor Café (Tiburon, California), Equus Restaurant (Santa Rosa, California), and the Flamingo Resort Hotel (Santa Rosa, California). Chef Malvestiti grew up in the Sonoma County area and has a passion for using local products in the menus he develops. Chef Malvesiti has been given numerous awards and acknowledgements, including being a medal winner at the Sonoma County Harvest Faire.

In his personal time, Chef Malvestiti enjoys the subject of history, gardening, and golfing.
