Subject: Indecent Exposure
Date: December 5, 2013

On Monday, December 2, 2013, SSU Police responded to a report of indecent exposure that occurred in Schultz Library. After investigation into the facts of the case, to include interviewing victims and witnesses since the date of initial report, a suspect was positively identified and the case was filed with the Sonoma County District Attorney’s office. A misdemeanor arrest warrant has been issued for the following suspect:

John Flath

White male, 37 years old, 5’ 10”, 170 lbs., brown hair, blue eyes

Often wears shorts and wore a hat during incident in Schultz

The suspect is not an SSU student and it is unknown what ties, if any, he has to the Rohnert Park or Sonoma County areas. He has been arrested in the past at UC Davis and Sacramento State University for similar criminal conduct and is known to frequent libraries when committing these crimes. The community is urged to call SSU Police immediately at (707) 664-4444 or 911 if he is seen at SSU or if anyone has information as to his whereabouts call the local law enforcement agency where he is located or observed.
