Job Title: Case Manager, Women's Chemical Dependency Program

Compensation: TBD
Internship Length: 1-2 semesters
Hours Per Week: 20-30 hours

Population: Adults, Children, Families
Focus: Crisis Intervention, Domestic Violence, Homeless, Mental Health, Substance Abuse
Setting: Community Agency, Residential Treatment

Join our treatment team with women in recovery. Perinatal, Residential, nicotine free, 120-day program (plus 8 month aftercare program) for women. Infants and young children live on-site with their mothers. Pregnant women may give birth while in this program.

Provide case management (maximum caseload (7) seven) using a team approach. Conduct educational and process groups, prepare individualized treatment plans, maintain timely and accurate documentation of interventions/client progress and coordinate ancillary services during treatment stay and continuation-of-care planning at discharge. Work with treatment team to monitor client progress and ensure effective response to ongoing treatment needs. On-site supervision and training provided.

Mothers attend classes 5 days/week focused on addiction, relapse prevention, communication skills, parenting education, Seeking Safety, domestic violence, menu planning and food preparation. Children are cared for by Children's Program staff while mothers are in classes. Small on-site Medical Clinic to care for primary medical needs of women and their children.

Position requires familiarity with 12-Step program, and must have current Registered Addiction Specialist certification. If in recover, minimum 2 years.

Full time, Monday through Friday; benefited position, competitive compensation.
