Leibinger Clinics, Solos at Jazz Festival in Nebraska

Doug LeibingerDoug Leibinger, director of jazz studies, traveled to Hastings, Nebraska to serve as adjudicator, clinician and guest artist at the 2010 Hastings College Jazz Festival on April 12.

During the day, he listened to 17 Nebraska high school and middle school bands, and provided each one with a short clinic. In the evening, he played trombone in a concert with the Hastings College Jazz Ensemble and Combo.

The repertoire included several of Leibinger's original big band compositions and arrangements.
