2017 Global Tech Forum

The School of Business and Economics is proud to present the 2017 Global Tech Forum, in partnership with Tech Bay Area Advocates.

The Forum will feature expert panels in WineTech, EdTech and makers, augmented and virtual reality, venture capital (VC), entrepreneurial ecosystem, and gaming. 


WineTech Panel

Dr. Damien Wilson, Hamel Family Faculty Chair of Wine Business, will lead the WineTech panel discussion on the nature of consumer behavior in the modern virtual environment, from 4:55 p.m. - 5:15 p.m.

WineTech Shark Tank

Beginning at 5:20 p.m., SBE alumni, Felicia Prater '17, Sonoma Executive MBA in Wine Business, Ian Cauble '02, B.A. in Economics, and Brandon Carneiro '12, Sonoma Executive MBA, will present their wine business ventures, The Urban Taste and SOMMSelect. 


Dr. William Silver, Dean of the SBE and the Wine Business Institute, will be co-moderator for the Global Tech Forum.
