CA Forum for Diversity in Graduate Education

Christine Pinella from our graduate business programs will be at the California Forum for Diversity in Graduate Education (Forum) to share information and answer questions about our program offerings. 

The Forum is an all-day event designed to acquaint students from underrepresented groups with the academic and career opportunities associated with advanced study in a wide range of disciplines. There will be approximately 150 recruiters from across the nation. The Forum is open to sophomores, juniors, seniors, and master's candidates with a minimum of 3.0 GPA. 

The Forum will offer workshops on:
  • How to Pay for Grad School: Before, During, and After
  • Demystifying the GRE
  • How to Prepare for the GRE
  • The Relation of the Master's to the PhD
  • How to Select, Apply to, & Prepare for Graduate School
  • Undergraduate Research Opportunities
  • How to Write a Winning Statement of Purpose
  • Keys to Success and Survival in Grad School
  • Successful Strategies for Acquiring Strong Letters of Recommendation

A free lunch, as well as transportation to the host campus (University of the Pacific), will be provided to those who register.
