Research Highlight – Wine Industry Survey

Assisted colleagues in the development of a consumer survey on the wine supply chain by interviewing wineries and distributors. The survey ascertained that state laws relating to distribution can affect the price and availability of wine. The first article - “The Impact of Wine Franchise Law on Consumers” - was published by the International Journal of Wine Business Research, Vol. 25, No. 2, pp. 138-158.

Teaching Highlights – Wine Executive MBA

Designed, developed, and delivered Operations and Supply Chain Strategies course in the Sonoma State Wine Executive MBA program. It was very challenging and exciting to work with Sallie Morris of Oracle Corporation to deliver this class to wine business professionals in Napa. This required the use of wine specific cases and custom wine assignments related to the wine business.
