TeX (pronounced "Tech") is a low level programming language aimed to typesetting documents. LaTeX (pronounced either "Lah-tech" or "Lay-tech") is a macro package used to produce professional looking and correctly typeset documents, in particular those with mathematical formulae. The following files provide an introduction to LaTeX, and examples of an article and a presentation created in LaTeX.
