A noon "Get Out the Vote" rally will be held at Sonoma State University on Thursday Oct. 25 in the Stevenson Quad. The SSU Academic Senate is joining with Associated Students, the University administration, California Faculty Association, California State University Employees Union, Academic Professionals of California, and members of the broader community in an event that marks a transition from the campus-wide voter registration drive being conducted by a number of student groups to a focus on voter turnout for the Nov. 6 election. CASE AwardWeill Hall Setting for Educational Outreach Days

Two music invitationals for high school singers and jazz players will take place in Weill Hall on Nov. 6 and 8. The daylong events are open to the public and will culminate with evening performances. On Tuesday, Nov. 6, Sonoma State Director of Choral Activities Jenny Bent will host the 11th Annual High School Choral Festival. Four hundred high school choristers from Sonoma and Marin counties will perform before guest adjudicator Dr. Richard Robert Rossi, director of choral and orchestral activities at Eastern Illinois University.
