Rocky Rohwedder Lectures During Semester at Sea

This summer Rocky Rohwedder, professor in the Department of Environmental Studies and Planning, served as a lecturer aboard the MV Explorer, home to Semester at Sea. On this Coastal Cultures of the West Enrichment Voyage, Dr. Rohwedder lectured on his Ecological Handprints research, model examples of sustainability in European cities, the rapid advance of solar in Germany. He has also been hired for Summer 2014 to serve as a professor during this academic term. He will be teaching a LENS course for the University of Virginia School of Architecture entitled "Sustainable Communities."
