Digital Image Primer Workshop

Karen Kessel, Visual Resources Specialist for the Art Department, will offer a noon workshop for any interested faculty and staff who need to use digital images in e-portfolios, presentations, or online publications, but are not very familiar with digital technology. Faculty and staff are also encouraged to invite their students to this workshop as it is beneficial for student papers and other course work.

Topics covered will be the differences between the most common file formats and when to use which, tools for organizing and finding your images, maintaining color fidelity, and appropriate file sizes, with a hands-on demonstration of how to quickly resize batches of images. This fast-paced session will be held in Art 107, around the corner from the Art Gallery, on Tuesday, October 15 from 12:00 p.m. - 12:50 p.m. Please RSVP to
