Sponsor Hands-on Learning in Archaeology

The Anthropological Studies Center (ASC) is an on-campus institute that helps SSU students learn real-world, career-oriented skills in archaeology; maintains the David Fredrickson Archaeological Collections Facility in which hundreds of thousands of artifacts are available for study; and provides the public with information about archaeology and historic preservation.

Every year since 1974, ASC has offered SSU students internships and other learning opportunities. Hundreds of students have benefited from our programs.

ASC is 100% self-funded – we get no money from the University. The programs are expensive and we need help to fund them. Any and all contributions will help!

Donations to ASC are tax deductible.
