Information meetings are held on the Sonoma State campus frequently over the course of the academic year. The Coordinator of the program discusses details of the curriculum, prerequisites, the application process, and the overall nature of the Depth program experience. Interested applicants may want to attend the Public Programs seminar on the morning of many of these events, held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on campus. Parking is $5 in most university lots, and $8 in Lot A which is close to Stevenson Hall and the Art Building. Lots A, E, F, G are close to Stevenson Hall. Download campus map here.

We begin accepting online applications for Fall 2019 admission in the fall of 2018. CalState Apply opens on Oct 1, 2018 for fall 2019 admission. We recommend that you get your application in early in the year. The program priority application deadline is Jan 31, 2019. This enables you to apply for a Sonoma State scholarship which has a deadline of Feb 1, 2019 for the following academic year, and for financial aid which has a March 2 priority deadline. We continue taking applications until our preferred class number is reached. Early application increases opportunities for financial aid and scholarship funding. We do not offer spring admission, and we do not defer admission to the following year.

Please check campus calendars if you are planning to take prerequisite courses at a community college such as Santa Rosa Junior College, or at a four-year university such as Sonoma State. SSU courses may be taken through Open University. On-line courses at UC Berkeley, Foothill College, and other colleges and universities have different start dates. If you wish to take the prerequisites as a full-time enrolled student at SSU, you must apply to the University for fall admission. The university does not currently have an academic program for post-baccalaureate study to complete a second BA or fulfill prerequisites for a master's degree.
