The School of Extended and International Education offers a wide variety of innovative, high quality academic credit certificates. We take pride in creating learning opportunities for career advancement while also working towards a degree.

Open University is a registration process whereby students who have not been formally admitted to Sonoma State may participate in regular University classes on a space-available basis. The Open University registration process is available only to non-matriculated students.

Graduate sooner! Summer Session and Winter Intersession courses offer SSU continuing students units in residence, the same as courses taken during the academic terms. Some of the resident courses fulfill General Education (GE) requirements. Look for the GE symbol in the course description.
