Health Care Dependent Re-Verification (DRV)

Employees were notified in February 2018 of the new DRV process which is required by law to re-verify the eligibility of dependents that are enrolled in health and dental coverage.

2018 W2 Distribution

W2 forms will be mailed from the State Controller's Office (SCO) by January 31, 2019. Please contact the Payroll and Benefits Office if you have not received your form by the second week of February.

Duplicate W2s can be requested by the SCO. There is an $8.50 processing fee for each tax year requested. If you do not receive your W2 and you had not changed your address, or if your form is received damage, the SCO will waive this fee. Eligible forms must be submitted to the Payroll and Benefits office before March 1st.

1095-B and 1095-C Distribution

By January 31st, the State of California will issue a Form 1095-C to its full-time employees with information about the health coverage offered, if any. The state's health coverage providers will also issue a Form 1095-B to employees who were enrolled in state-sponsored health coverage.
