A series of lectures and special events help launch the first SSU Sustainability Week to be held on campus.

Join Us in Making Progress (JUMP) Student Projects:

Sustainability Supper nooner, Tuesday, Oct. 22,11:30-1 p.m. Different parts of campus supporting sustainability such as the ride share group, composting, and garden, are in the Darwin Quad to show students how SSU is currently being sustainable. JUMP kicks off its plastic bag drive.

Fall Garden Party in the Environmental Technology Center garden. Students and staff are invited to come out and have some fun decorating pumpkins, touring the garden, and learning about the new partnership with St. Vincent de Paul and the Agro Ecology Class. Free produce samples, live music. Friday, Oct 25, 4-6 p.m.
