Elections for positions in RSA are held via email around February or March. The email is sent out to all residents twice in a week period along with information from the candidates about why they are running. These elections occur prior to room selection.

Village Council elections are done by village in the first few weeks of school. Typically the Village Councils will host one or two info nights explaining what Village Council is, generating interest and seeing who wished to run for positions. The elections, process and election positions are designed by the village.
