Third Annual Teacher Technology Showcase

Faculty and Staff are invited to join the School of Education's third annual Teacher Technology Showcase on Thursday, Dec. 5 from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. in the Cooperage. "The Showcase is fast becoming the premiere education technology event in the North Bay," says organizer Jessica Parker. Last year, there were 150 attendees and 26 presenters from both pre- and in-service educators. This year, the School expects 250 local educators, administrators, and community members to attend and watch 40 presentations from pre- and in-service teachers and administrators.

This year's showcase is focused on student learning and will be packed with presentations, a hands-on Makerspace, and a Technology Sandbox for those to try out the latest tech tools in the classroom, says Parker. There will also be food and giveaways throughout the evening. Partners for this year's event include Sonoma County Office of Education (SCOE) and KQED.
